Position Summary:

We are seeking a collaborative team leader who has demonstrated an understanding of HR systems, communication and creative problem solving, to drive continual improvement. The role will focus on the maintenance of the existing HRIS systems and processes in place, and will also play a role in shaping future business systems and adapting new and innovative HR technology solutions supporting our workforce of over 30,000 associates. The HRIS Supervisor oversees a team of three and all aspects of the HR systems including configuration, data integrity, system testing, upgrades and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree along with a minimum of 5 years of experience core HR and Talent Management systems and with at least 1 year of experience in a supervisory role. Individuals with HR system integration experience affecting multiple systems are optimal for this role.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Oversee HR systems day-to-day activities, service requests, table maintenance, data requests, integrations, and technical end-user support activities.

  • Mapping of users to roles ensuring that security is in place and accurate. Keep HR system training materials current.

  • Develop system strategies, and complete HR systems enhancements working with all process owners to meet business needs.

  • Ensure the proper planning, coordination, and implementation of Service Packs and Express Packs per HR's business needs and stakeholder’s expectations.

  • Build and maintain system enhancement roadmap based on needs of functional process owners. Consult with functional process owners and provide guidance and

recommendations based on best practice and system capability research and to improve overall associate/manager experience.

  • Project Management as needed, liaison with IT for change control, ensure project is completed, communicated, tested and implemented (initiate, plan, design, deploy).

  • Develop, strategize and resource plan test strategies for all implementations.

  • Responsible for the accuracy and integrity of the data stored within the HR Systems.

  • Ensure data is transferred accurately and completely to and from the Core HR and Talent Management systems to outside systems and vendors

  • Supervise direct reports by prioritizing workload, managing performing, and development planning.

  • Other projects as assigned by the Manager.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required

  • 5 to 10 years of experience in Core HR/Talent Management Systems

  • Experience with project management

  • Prior supervisor experience

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

  • Knowledge of relational databases required

  • Oral and written communication in technical and non-technical formats

  • Knowledge of corporate recruiting and talent management processes

  • Facilitating business requirements documentation

  • Knowledge of HR, Payroll policies and procedures

  • Knowledge and skills with Core HR, Talent Management Systems, and Reporting

  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues

  • Ability to analyze project requirements

  • Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
