Penske National Account Support Coordinator in Franklin Park, Illinois
Provide day-to-day sales and administrative assistance to the assigned Account Manager as they work to achieve the overall sales goals set by the company.
A qualified candidate will have excellent skills in Excel and Powerpoint and flexible enough to change work requirements immediately based on customer request.
Preparing professional proposals & presentations
Providing customer service and problem resolution
Managing customer action items as required
Intercepting phone calls and emails to resolve issues
Procuring and or creating reports and data for customers and sales associates
Providing professional research on customers and prospects
Creating account profiles and meeting preps as needed
Providing proximity mapping reports for proposals and other presentations
Assisting with monthly mailers
Maintaining accurate customer & prospect list
Maintaining & prioritizing current renewal list
Preparing customer review reports/presentations
Preparing contract documents and schedules
Penske system usage (applicants will be trained on use): Salesforce, My Fleet, Fleet Net, Service Net, AS400, Work Flow, AD Hoc Reports.
Making hotel & travel arrangements, submitting expense reports, and maintaining office supplies
Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor
2-3 years of experience working with customers either by phone or face to face required
Experience with marketing research and/or sales support highly preferred
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Associates or Bachelors degree preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills required
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, and Powerpoint
Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required.
