Penske (PTL Canada) Assistant District Administrator in Delta, British Columbia

Position Summary:

A Penske District Administrator aids executives in staff capacity by analyzing and coordinating office services such as personnel, budget preparation and control, fiscal affairs, equipment utilization, records control, and manage the district clerical staff.

Major Responsibilities:

-Oversee the process for licensing, permits, and citations

-Serve as liaison along with our sales force, for our customers regarding their invoice concerns

-Assist with human resource processes; driver qualification files, workers compensation, staffing, and new associate onboarding

-Process payroll through the Etime system and maintain payroll records

-Adhere to usage and guidelines for petty cash and approvals

-Process journal entries and provide necessary support information to the district

-Process and analyze various reports to assist location managers

-Provide assistance to the rental group with billing, coverage requirements for insurance, tracking accidents

-Identifies administrative needs and develops appropriate solutions or recommendations.

-Coordinates collection and preparation of operating reports such as time and attendance records, terminations, new hires, transfers, budget expenditures, and statistical records of performance data

-Issues and interprets operating policies.

-Reviews and answers correspondence

-Directs services such as computer and office equipment maintenance and repair, supplies, mail, and files

-Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications:

-2 years of experience in Finance and Payroll required

-2 years of supervisory experience preferred

-High School diploma or equivalent required

-Bachelors degree preferred

-Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required

-AS400 experience preferred

-Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job

-Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete a Penske employment application, submit to a reference verification (to include past employment and education) are required
