The Parts Clerk’s duties focus on inventory control and executing shop administrative tasks and organizing day-to-day functions, thus freeing the Branch Service Manager to manage shop floor productivity. -Complete stock parts, tires and repair orders and inventory
-Inventory management (cycle counts, mins/max's/aging)
-Physical Management (receipt, bar codes)
-Handle warranty part ordering/returns
-Operates computer terminal to input and retrieve data
-Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor
-Technical understanding of automotive/truck parts required; previous parts room experience preferred
-2 years of customer service experience required
-2 years of administrative support experience required
-Experience in the transportation industry preferred
-High School Diploma or equivalent required
-Post secondary degree preferred
-Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel required
-Customer service skills, ability to work independently, and organizational skills required
-Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
