Route/Activity – Route/Activity – Truck drivers are responsible for delivering product to customers. Driver deliver styro foam cups to customers throughout the Southeast. Typically 1 or 2 stops. Drivers are responsible for unload at customer stops. There is an unload pay for each unload. Backhauls are no touch and have a per stop pay for pickup and delivery. Routes between 500 to 1000 mile round trip. Average miles per week 2000.
Shift – Routes leave on Sunday afternoon or Sunday evening depending on distance. Drivers ends week Friday afternoon to Saturday morning. Latest drivers in are given the latest route leaving Sunday. Restart every weekend with very few exceptions. Average 2 nights per week at home as routes from delivery point are backhauled back to home base
Equipment – 53` Dry Van Trailers. 2015 Volvo Tractors. Well marinated in Penske Maintenance program. Domicile at Penske Shop so repairs made while at home.
Compensation – 38 per mile, $75.00 Unloads, $20.00 no touch stops. Delay at 17.50 per hour Weekly pay between $1000 and $1400
-Loading, unloading, or assisting in loading and unloading truck.
-Safe and responsible operation of assigned equipment.
-Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines.
-Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage before and after route.
-Primary interface with the customer at point of delivery.
-At least 23 years of age
-CDL Class A license required
-2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience in the last 5 years
-3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations/accidents
-Reliable and customer oriented
-Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
-Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.

The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and to reach with hands and arms. The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs/23kg and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs/45kg.
-The associate must be able to legally operate a motor vehicle and safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle as well as the rear cargo area.
