Position Summary:
Penske is looking forexperienced service facility managers and diesel technician/mechanic supervisors. Penske's skilled team of 3,500 mechanics, 1,200 service assistants and 400 supervisors uses diagnostic and troubleshooting skills to keep our customers' heavy-duty tractors, trucks, and trailers in top condition and on the road. Penske is the first and only truck leasing, rental and logistics provider to earn National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification for its continuing education program for fleet mechanics. Typically, you'll receive at least 40 hours of state-of-the-art training each year on a variety of OEM equipment.

Major Responsibilities:
-Manage preventative maintenance scheduling, quality, and customer satisfaction
-Plan and prepare work schedules, and assign associates to specific duties
-Listen to and resolve customer complaints regarding services, products, or personnel
-Hire, train, and evaluate personnel
-At least 3 years of previous work experience in vehicile facility maintenance required, diesel vehicle experience preferred
-At least 1 years of supervisory experience required
-Associates Degree (business or technical) or Vo-Tech diploma preferred
-In-depth knowledge of all vehicle components including: engine, drive train, air-brakes, cooling systems, electrical systems, accessories, suspension, and tires required
-Brake/air brake certification, diesel certification, EPA 608/609 certification, and HVAC certification preferred
-Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel required
-Strong written/oral communication and people management skills required
-Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, complete a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required
