Penske Talent Development Coordinator in Reading, Pennsylvania


Position Summary:

The purpose of this Talent Development Coordinator role is to coordinate all administrative aspects of talent development programs, processes, and resources in providing easy to do business with experience and world class learning. In this role you’ll provide critical support to the Talent Development department, field operations, and associates across the organization by coordinating key processes.

Optimal candidates for this role will have a bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of prior experience coordinating other HR programs. All candidates must have a customer centric approach, collaborate well, have strong organizational skills, and an interest in technology.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Manage the administration processes for the following training systems and L&D functions: OLMS, Online Learning platform, Mimeo, and LEARN. In addition, provides administrative support for all formal classroom training and online training programs including training calendars, processing invoices, production and shipping of program materials, program marketing materials, enrollments, tracking and training reports. Other administrative support activities include negotiating hotel contracts and ordering catering for training courses.

  • Coordinate the administrative processes required to support Executive Development including program registration, 360 feedback reviews, and other Leadership Development initiatives. Facilitate communication with external vendors as needed.

  • Manage the ongoing administration and execution of the Tuition Assistance Program. Update process and improve technology when applicable. Review applications for tuition assistance, tracking requests, calculate payments and submit reimbursement information to Payroll.

  • Support the execution of the PCM, Compliance training & Succession Planning processes by generating reports and other related activities. Update process and improve technology when applicable.

  • Maximize online training system investment by analyzing training needs, connecting needs to current and future courses, and improving overall program utilization.

  • Coordinate and manage all State Grant Funding program activities by establishing contacts with various state agencies, researching new sources of funding, analyzing grant requirements, and coordinating training courses to fulfill funding secured.

  • Other projects and duties as assigned by supervisor


  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred or relevant work experience

  • 2 years of HR program administration experience preferred

  • Excellent interpersonal and influence skills; Executive presence

  • Ability to build foster and maintain positive and collaborative working relationships with associates of all levels

  • Demonstrated capability to learn quickly without supervision. An early technology adapter to drive efficiencies.

  • Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
