Penske Senior Dealer Sales Representative in Reading, Pennsylvania

The Dealer Sales Representative is responsible for marketing and selling Penske’s pre-owned vehicles through the wholesale channel for the Remarketing Department. The goal of this position is to expand our dealer customer base and build relationships with established accounts to foster repeat business.
We are looking for a sales professional who can learn fast and is determined to succeed. People who are enthusiastic, have strong interpersonal skills, and set aggressive goals for themselves do well in this position.
Achieve sales goals and executes sales plans to small and large dealer accounts
Contact prospective customers through outbound calls and email marketing
Gain deep knowledge of customer base in order to present vehicles that match their interest
Utilize creative email campaigns to solicit to new and existing customers
Offer creative proposals and negotiate prices and services
Generating leads through utilizing a CRM system to manage quotes and contact information
Other projects as assigned by the supervisor
High School diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's degree preferred
5 years sales experience required and working in a quota environment preferred
Prior experience within the vehicle industry a plus
Ability to solve problems independently with customers and internal associates
Proven record of successfully building relationships and selling value added services
Strong negotiation skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Strong oral and written communication skills are required
Ability to work fast and multi-task with computer systems and applications
Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required.
