Penske QA Test Engineer in Reading, Pennsylvania
Would you like to draw upon your Quality Assurance (QA) Testing expertise to play a lead role in influencing the development of a new automated testing framework for the nation’s leading Transportation company? In this newly created position, you will team with top IT professionals. You will be part of our dynamic collegiate environment and manage the automated test infrastructure to support QA team initiatives.

Lead major projects simultaneously that are initiated within the Department to improve existing testing best practices for automated testing
Lead teams to implement testing infrastructure and scripting to support automated testing.
Support automated testing infrastructure and provide recommendations for improvement.
Mentor other QA members on best practices.
Leads and/ or participates in other duties as assigned by management.
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related area.
At least 5 years experience in testing and at least 2 years experience in automation
Must have a practical understanding of QA principles, concepts, measures, industry best practices and standards.
Understanding of Agile testing methodologies required.
Graphical User Interface, Web and iSeries testing experience preferred.
Advanced understanding of RPG, Web and Client-Server programming languages.
Advanced understanding of technology (i.e. OS layer, database layer, application layer, network, etc.)
Excellent communications skills
Ability to quickly troubleshoot and resolve issues with the environment
Ability to efficiently evaluate and communicate test results
Effective organization skills; ability to multi-task
Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required
