Position Summary:
The Interactive Project Manager will manage interactive projects and support and drive improvements through the Penske B2B and B2C websites. This position manages the projects that support our business and drive revenue.
Preferred candidates must have at least 5 years of demonstrated strong project leadership skills and proven strength in proposing, selling ideas, creating, implementing and managing change while ensuring that customer needs are meets. This position will serve as a customer liaison when piloting and delivering a solution. Prior experience with internet projects are highly preferred, and this position has to be able to communicate well with developers (prior development is a plus but not required).
This position is located in our corporate marketing department, based in Reading, PA located just 10 minutes off of the Pennsylvania Turnpike Morgantown exit.
Responsibilities:
- Defining project requirements which may include analysis, resourcing planning, co-ordination of project activities among several internal disciplines, project monitoring and management
-Manage multiple projects using cross functional teams.
-Managing effective relationships with 3rdparty vendors and other team members to keep projects on track and deliver a quality solution
-Work directly with customers (internal and external) to identify and resolve issues, identify new solutions and provide training when necessary.
-Create and deliver presentations on proposed solutions/projects to all management levels (up to and including VP, SVP, EVP levels)
-At least 5 years of project manager experience required
-At least 5 years of experience managing website or interactive projects preferred
-Experience working with customers to understand needs and identifying new ways for the company to deliver
-Experience with business analysis, process mapping and new process design projects
-Demonstrated commitment to customer service
-Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with and lead a team
-Strong project management skills including time management, organizational and follow-up skills
-Ability to prioritize and effectively manage multiple priorities
-Effective presentation skills with the ability to present project information to customers and all levels of management

-Strong written and oral communication skills
-Computer skills: Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint and Visio
