Human Capital Metrics Analyst in Reading Pennsylvania United States

Position Summary:
This position will provide historical and predictive analytical support for the Human Resources business initiatives by providing insight to differences in our associate population, providing visibility to HR processes, measuring the impact of HR initiatives and establishing linkages to business performance. Workforce planning and analysis efforts will include scenario planning, modeling and correlation analysis.

This position isnota behind the scenes analytics position. Findings will be presented on a regular basis to senior Human Resource leadership and occasionally to senior field operations leadership. We are specifically looking for candidates who can take their findings, apply their understanding of business practices, and tell a story around potential opportunity areas.

Major Responsibilities:
-Perform data analysis (including trending, correlation analysis, forecasting and Scenario planning) and regular reporting for field and corporate leadership
-Create and maintain databases or tools to summarize analyze and report key HR business metrics
-Collaborate with HR functional experts and business leadership to develop key metrics, design reports and deploy workforce planning tools
-Prepare business presentation, including recommendations
-Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and definitions to insure reporting consistency across all metrics. Create any training or support materials as needed for each procedure and/or metric
-Create ad-hoc analysis and reports
-Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.

-4 year business degree required
-Green Belt or Black Belt certification (preferred)
-5 years data analysis experience
-Demonstrated experience interpreting data and translating it into common language for communication
-General understanding of business processes
-Penske field business experience, preferred
-Strong data analysis skills
-Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, Access, Powerpoint)
-Relational database design and development (MS Access, SQL)
-Strong written and verbal communication skills
-Ability to manage multiple priorities
-HR process knowledge, preferred
-Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required
