Penske Customer Success Specialist-Connected Fleet in Reading, Pennsylvania
The Customer Success Specialist-Connected Fleet is an exciting new role at Penske and will be responsible for maintaining a deep understanding of the various Telematics products in the marketplace, understanding the needs and wants of our external customers and having the ability to support the sales team in regards to Telematics knowledge. This person will work closely with all members of the onboard technology team to ensure delivery of a fully optimized Telematics strategy for each and every Penske customer.
Telematics/software knowledge is not required for this opportunity, training will be provided. Candidates with sales or sales support experience and an entrepreneurial mindset will be successful in this role.
- Become the subject matter expert on all commercial onboard technologies available in the marketplace and a deep understanding of how those technologies interface with Penske systems
-Customer consultations regarding onboard technology choices
-Sales team support and training
-Day-to-day onboard vendor communications
-Managing sales/marketing collateral, such as presentation materials, newsletters, web content, etc.
-Other projects as assigned by the supervisor
-High School diploma or equivalent required
-4 year degree or relevant years of sales/sales support experience preferred
-Effective communication skills are of the utmost importance as this person will be in constant and direct contact with customers, the Penske sales team and telematics service providers
-Product management experience, ideally on web-based products
-Experience working with both computer hardware and software is important due to the end-to-end nature of onboard technology systems
-Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required
