This hands-on supervisor would be responsible for coordination, scheduling and auditing of maintenance repairs to include preventative, mechanical and electrical repair to tractors, trucks and trailers. You will have access to industry leading technology, tools and training. 

You will be involved in the hiring, training, and ongoing development of technicians to ensure that our highly skilled workforce is able to meet customer expectations. 

This is anticipated to be a second shift Tuesday through Saturday.

Major Responsibilities: 
- Meet and exceed customer satisfaction
- Coach/Mentor/Develop service department associates
- Monitor associate work levels
- Fleet maintenance management and repair expense management - Identifying areas for improvement and reinforce policies and procedures
- Facility management, assuring a clean and safe working environment

- Check air pressure in tires, check motor oil, transmission, radiator, and other fluids
- Adjust air, oil, water, or other fluids, as required
- Clean windshields, and wash vehicles
- Prepare daily reports of fuel, oil, and accessory sales
- Order stock, price and shelve incoming goods
- Occasionally perform minor repairs such as, install mounted tires, replace or rotate tires and complete preventative maintenance repairs.
- Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor




- High School Diploma or equivalent required     
- A valid driver’s license is required.
- Tech or Vocational certification preferred
- Must be able to work in a fast past, high energy environment 
- Effective communication both written and verbal is key to success, bilingual Spanish is a plus.
- Basic computer skills preferred for data entry into maintenance systems. 
- Willingness to travel within district (close geographical area), work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a reference verification (to include past employment and education) are required

Major Responsibilities:  
-Manage preventative maintenance scheduling, quality, and customer satisfaction

-Plan and prepare work schedules, and assign associates to specific duties

Qualifications 
-At least 3 years of previous work experience in vehicile facility maintenance required, diesel vehicle experience preferred
-At least 1 years of supervisory experience required
-Associates Degree (business or technical) or Vo-Tech diploma preferred
-In-depth knowledge of all vehicle components including: engine, drive train, air-brakes, cooling systems, electrical systems, accessories, suspension, and tires required
-Brake/air brake certification, diesel certification, EPA 608/609 certification, and HVAC certification preferred
-Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel required
-Strong written/oral communication and people management skills required
-Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, complete a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required

- Maintain work area appearance and safety
- Use hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, pressure gauges, and precision instruments, as well as power tools such as pneumatic wrenches, welding equipment, and jacks and hoists.
- Perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and machinery.
- Adjust and replace brakes, tighten bolts and screws, and reassemble equipment.
- Raise trucks, buses, and heavy parts or equipment using hydraulic jacks or hoists- Other duties and tasks as assigned by supervisor



- 1 or more year of practical experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Vocational/Technical or certification preferred
- Working knowledge in the use of hand tools required

- A valid drivers license is required
- Basic computer skills preferred for data entry into maintenance systems.
- Ability to work in non-climate controlled conditions required

A Penske Vehicle Preparation Associate (Fueler/Washer/Detailer) meets and greet incoming customers while performing entry-level duties. These may consist of fuel island inspections, fuel and wash vehicles, pick up and delivery of vehicles and parts, facility maintenance, tire changes, daily rental check in/out, and parts pricing and stocking.

Major Responsibilities: 
- Activate fuel pumps and fill fuel tanks of vehicles with gasoline or diesel fuel to specified levels
- Check air pressure in vehicle tires; and levels of fuel, motor oil, transmission, radiator, and other fluids; and add air, oil, water, or other fluids, as required
- Clean windshields, and wash vehicles
- Perform minor repairs such as, install mounted tires and changing engine oil and filters
- Prepare daily reports of fuel, oil, and accessory sales
- Order stock, and price and shelve incoming goods
- Rotate or replace tires
- Provide customers with information about local roads and highways
- Clean parking areas, offices, restrooms, and equipment, and remove trash- Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor



- At least 1 year of customer service experience preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- A valid drivers license is required
- Bilingual, Spanish a plus
- Basic computer skills preferred for data entry into maintenance systems.
