Penske Clerk - Warehouse (Logistics) in Dallas, Texas

Position Summary:

Penske Logistics is looking for talented individuals with administrative experience in a warehouse environment. Activities include monitoring inbound and outbound, bill-of-lading processing, inventory support, customer service and KPI reporting.

This is a first shift position. Days are Monday - Friday. Hours are 8am - 5pm.

Major Responsibilities:

Job responsibilities may include:

  • Maintain a clean and safe work area

  • Interact with customers on order status, inventory questions, and other requests for information as they occur

  • Ensure all paperwork requirements (i.e. BOLs) are processed accurately and efficiently

  • Support leadership for all necessary internal and external reporting, including safety, productivity, inventory, damage, returns and other KPIs as required

  • Complies with all safety requirements

  • Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of clerical experience required

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

  • Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required

  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office suite

  • Experience with warehouse management and enterprise operating systems is preferred – examples include SAP, Oracle, Manhattan, Red Prairie or like systems

  • Ability to work independently, focus on customer needs and requirements

  • Must be able to work well in a team environment

  • A “can-do” attitude, being flexible and versatile in a fast-paced environment

  • Time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills required

  • Solid basic math skills

  • Flexible to work overtime as needed

  • Ability to work in non-climate controlled conditions required

  • Ability to work independently, focus on customer needs and requirements

  • Must be able to work well in a team environment

  • A “can-do” attitude, being flexible and versatile in a fast-paced environment

  • Time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills required

  • Solid basic math skills

  • Flexible to work overtime as needed
